Wanted-A Simple Life: We have all seen want ads in the newspaper. Some sound intriguing. Others appear to be above our skill level. And others require us to relocate to places we have no desire to go. There is one Want ad we may never see, and that is one that will appeal to all people, no matter their skill level. And relocating isn’t necessary. This ad would simply read:

Are You Searching for a Simple Life?

Have you ever stopped to think about the lifestyle you live? Is it one that truly speaks to your heart? Does it bring you joy? Is there enough time to do the things you love to do, or spend time with your friends and family?

Learning to live a Simple Life offers all of those things. It is a life that has meaning and purpose. It allows you to pursue passions. A Simple Life offers time for your faith, family, home, and community. And there will still be enough left over to pursue and enjoy the passions that have been sitting patiently aside, waiting for you to come back.

Are You Ready to Apply?

One reason we rarely answer the Want Ads we see that are so appealing, is we feel our resume won’t reflect we properly equipped for the job.

If you truly desire to apply for a position that says: Wanted-A Simple Life, guess what? You already have the job! You have the skills needed, the desire to learn more, and you are already exactly where you need to be. No relocation necessary!

Go ahead. Be brave. Show up for your new position on January 3rd for your first day. It may just be the best Want Ad you have ever responded to!
